Class Reflection
Wow! I can't believe that our class is coming to an end already; it seems like we just began. Overall I really enjoyed the class. Before the class began, I really did not think that I would really learn anything new because I used Google during my senior of high school and all the way through college. But, I was totally wrong, I learned a few new different types of technology that can aid in and outside of my classroom. Also, it was nice to get a refresher on some of the Google tools; I did not realize it but I actually forgot a few things.
Over the course of these six weeks, I saw my comfortability with the technology presented to us improving each and every week. I really like how each week our class would focus on something new so that we could get a wide variety of possible tools to be brought into the classroom. I definitely feel that I will use many of the tools that we learned about in the near future with my students.
When I found out that we would be using Twitter, I kinda freaked out because I am really not a fan of social media. I prefer to connect with people the "old fashion" way of face to face communication or talking on the phone. But after using Twitter for a while, I can see the benefits it offers such as the ease of connecting with educators all over the world. I definitely could see myself using Twitter more often to see what other educations are doing in their classrooms and if I can bring those ideas into my classroom.
